Getting Quality Reps

The boys continue to get preseason games under their belts. Which means quality, game like practice. Yesterday was a great experience for our golfers, highlighted by one of our up and coming 9th graders, Mason. While Mason didn’t put up the lowest score of the day, he got a chance to compete in his first official preseason match. He got a chance to play a full 9 holes, fight off nerves at the first tee box, test his knowledge of the game, and navigate through a round of highs and lows. While every golfer may not get a chance to compete against other teams this year, you can still challenge yourselves on the course. Go to that first tee box and feel the pressure of a bunch of old guys waiting to tee off after you. Shank that first contact and still have the courage to step up to the ball to take another swing. The more you challenge yourself, the more you’ll grow.
By the way, Mason finished with the 6th best score out of the 15 golfers. Not bad 💪
