Morro Bay High School is a part of the Mountain League again this year. The Mountain League is comprised of the top 7 teams in the area. Each week the boys play a home and away match vs a given school, totaling 12 league duals. Mountain League teams include:
-Morro Bay High School
-Arroyo Grande High School
-Mission College Prep
-Paso Robles High School
-Righetti High School
-San Luis Obispo High School
-St. Joes High School
The boys started two weeks ago and have taken down Paso Robles and Mission, both at home and away. The guys scored a record breaking 187 at home, averaging a 37.4 per golfer! John Riley and Noah Kimbrell have led the way the last two weeks, averaging 9 hole scores of 37 strokes each. The rest of the team has been steady and strong, averaging a 41 between the remaining 4 golfers.
The team takes on the defending league champions and team rival, SLO High this coming week. Come watch if you have the chance!
